PRE –K ROOM
The main objective of our Pre-K classroom is to prepare our students for kindergarten. They will participate in fun activities that relate to our curriculum. The children will be learning phonics, writing, and how to follow directions. We have a graduation ceremony at the end of the year that will display the different activities that your child has learned through out the year. Our goal is to make the transition into kindergarten as smooth as possible.
HighReach has a curriculum designed especially for our Pre-K students. The curriculum is an actual kindergarten curriculum. It introduces communication, self awareness, the alphabet, and one-to-one correspondence. We also teach sign language in all of our classrooms as well. The sign language is provided by Sign 2 Me. Each month your child will learn different signs as a part of our curriculum.
Supplies you will need to bring include a change of clothes in case of any accidents, and a small size pillow and blanket for nap time. If you have any questions or would like further information, please e-mail us using our contact page on our website.
